CRAFTY HAPPENING: special crafty community preview of the workroom

workroom_logo_TCA

I am very excited about the opening of this new crafty community space on Queen West. This is a great concept hatched by CraftChatter Karyn, who is responding to the need for a (permanent, offline) space for us all to get out of our studios/homes and come together & make stuff, to share tips and ideas, and get access to equipment and hard to find materials (like contemporary Japanese fabrics - yah!).

Here is Karyn's invitation to you all to join her in celebrating the opening of the Workroom. We'd both love to meet you...

welcome to the workroom
tuesday october 16, 2007
7 pm
1340 Queen Street West (just east of Brock)

the workroom is a place to make something.

the workroom:
wants to inspire you with new ideas.
wants to teach you something you didn’t know.
wants you to teach us something we didn’t know.
wants to provide you with equipment and space you don’t have.
wants to introduce you to other people who are making things.
wants to supply you with unique fabrics, notions and supplies.

Join us tuesday night for a special preview for toronto's crafty
community. Enjoy wine, cheese, japanese imported fabrics and friends.
Attendees will receive a 15% discount card for their first purchase.
