Felted Bag Workshop (knit-felting)

A handbag is the perfect application for felt. Knitting alone does not offer the sturdiness of finished felt. Felted bags are stronger, more durable and will not stretch out of shape. In this workshop students will follow a simple knit pattern to create their bag. The bag can then be transformed like magic with a little help from the good-old-washing machine. Presto-chango-felt! Line Your Knit Felted Bag Class

Thursday July 3, 6-9pm

Take your newly felted bag and learn to make a simple lining in the fabric of your choice. We'll show you how to attach handles and put in a zippered pocket to stash your valuables. To finish it off we'll do a simple and invisible technique to stitch the whole thing together. Your felted handbag will be super cute in every way.
